Personal Umbrella
Unexpected accidents that cause an excessive amount of damage occur more than you think. This package offers a more broad coverage and higher liability in case you are found at fault in such an event.
Dwelling
A dwelling policy is basically used when:
- The residence to be insured is not eligible for a Homeowners Policy because of homeowners eligibility rules (i.e. tenant occupied dwelling).
- The house is over 30 years old or has a value of less than $40,000.
- An insured does not want the broad coverage found in a Homeowners Policy because the insured believes it is too expensive.
Flood
A flood is defined as a temporary condition of partial or complete inundation of normally dry land areas from overflow of inland or tidal waters, the unusual and rapid accumulation or run off of surface water from any source, or mudslides by flooding. Flood insurance covers damage to a building, including foundation, posts, pilings, piers, or other support systems for elevated buildings. Your homeowner policy does not cover flood damage. The only guaranteed flood insurance coverage available for your home is Federal Flood Insurance purchased through your insurance agent or company.
Renters
Renters insurance protects your personal property at home and away from home against the following hazards: fire, smoke or lightning, burglary or vandalism, riot or civil commotion, explosion or electrical surge damage, windstorm or hail, falling objects and other hazards detailed in your policy. Your landlord is not responsible for your contents.
